Today (February 6th, 2012) is Chupo’s 15th birthday.

Old guy made it longer than anybody expected. Hopefully, he will be around a long, long time.

Qatar IAAF World Super Tour 2006

May 2006, Qatar IAAF World Super Tour in Doha. Wonderful evening at stadium, lot of good athletes, friends on stands, and on duty.

Even Men 100 m New “World Record” was set (see: “World Record” Story ).

I spent evening taking pictures of friends, and other people on stadium.

He is passing trough some difficult time in his life, and I wish him all the best.

We met first time in Sarajevo, working for Olympics 1984, and since then spent a lot of time together in and out of the office. This photo was taken 1983 in Sarajevo.

Fireworks

Every year (end of July through first week of August) Vancouver is organizing Celebration of Light.

Some international fireworks companies from different countries compete for title by launching their displays accompanied by music over English Bay Beach.

This set of photos was taken 2009 during Chinese presentation.

Caffe “Paragraf”

Caffe Paragraf (eng. Paragraph) is small coffee shop/bar across the Sarajevo Palace of Justice (Cantonal and Municipal Court building).

Located at centre of the city, this is a place where I spent a lot of time with my friends whenever I visited Sarajevo. Small basement space, nothing fancy, but rich with many dear people I know.

Never boring, this is perfect place to hear what is happening in the city, to meet old friends, to listen the newest anecdotes and jokes.

This set of photos was taken around New Year 2007.

Reconstruction done

Last couple of weeks I spent to “reconstruct” my website.

Theme updated with the latest release, all my customization done (thanks to Elegant Themes Forum members), lot of pictures uploaded again (because of using different WordPress plugins).

Most important is that site should not be vulnerable to hacking, as it was before.

I hope, that everything is working fine now. It is time to take some new photos.

If you find something that should be corrected, please – let me know.

HDR Home Office

This is my first HDR attempt (using 9 exposures of 1 EV apart, and merged in Photoshop). I chose my home office, to check how it looks. Photos taken in the middle of the day, bright sunlight outside.

Final result looks fine to me, colors are accurate, even some details trough the window are visible.

My office is another story, I built it for myself: Custom built cabinets, desk, shelves …. This is my seclusion; here I am spending most of my time at home. This web site is born here.
